Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen

Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen is the largest soup kitchen in New York City, serving nearly 1,000 hot, nutritious meals each weekday, and has been a symbol of hope and compassion in Manhattan since 1982. The Writing Den is at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen (HASK) on the Second Wednesday of each month from 10:30am-12:30pm at 296 9th Ave, New York, NY 10001 in Chelsea.

Housing Works Bookstore Cafe

Housing Works Bookstore Cafe is a social enterprise and event venue that raises money to support Housing Works’ lifesaving services for people living with HIV/AIDS in New York.

The Writing Den is at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe on the Last Saturday each month from 2:00pm-4:00pm at 126 Crosby Street, New York, NY 10012 in Soho.


Ladle Fellowship

Feeds and clothes the poor, provides help to seniors, and offers on-going pastoral care and counseling with a focus on re-uniting fragmented families, restoring broken relationships, and establishing a life committed to purpose. The Writing Den is at Ladle Fellowship, First Presbyterian Church is held on the Fourth/Last Sunday of each month from 2:00pm-3:30pm, at 320 Date Street, San Diego, CA 92101 in Bankers Hill.

Mary's Place

Mary’s Place provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness.

New York Public Library Muhlenberg Branch
